The wine is very clean and pure in the noise with traces of minty herbalness, citric and mandarin notes. I think the wine was served a little to the warm side, but still very perfect precision and development in the mouth. This year I think Absterde finally shows the few details I have missed for the last two years before (for it to be perfect in my head). In the mouth the taste change like a chameleon from a fruity seductive mandarin tones to a focus broad almost hurting mineral elixir with weak tobacco tones. Extremely juicy acidity that simply cuts the flesh out exposing the amazing inner mineral core of the wine. For me extremely perfect structure combined with a brilliant long finish!
