The wine was opened last week after a visit to a nice restaurant here in Copenhagen www.nimb.dk/ just to get a glass before crazing my bed. The nose was just stinking of egg and sulfur and I really did not feel like drinking it after I had the Haart “haart to Heart” 2007 at the resturant – so I did not drink anything of the bottle that evening. After open a week the smell has change - now it has a lot of green pepper fruit, citrus and a spike of sweet mature orange – really delicious.
In the mouth the wine is soft like velvet with mainly fruit tones of green pepper fruit (quit odd but also nice at the same time) combined with yellow citrus tones. It is very one-dimensional and elegant at the same time, not really a classic Pfalz wine – beautiful structure and acidity but also very simpel. I will keep the rest of the wine for a week before tasting it again it seems to develop nicely

Det er selvfølgelig inspiret af dig (og din blog)! Jeg vil kun poste noter på tysk vin m.m. som en hyldest til alt det fantastiske tyske vin der findes..., og min blog vil ikke på samme måde være så personlig som din er...
