EMRICH-SCHÖNLEBER, MONZINGER HALENBERG, GG, NAHE 2006

Crystal clear with a dim yellow nuance. The nose has yellow sweet tones of citrus fruit that is complemented by an icing mineral nerve of quarts. Initial the wine is soft like velvet and like a elegant ballerina dancing with her beautiful sensual peach and yellow citrus fruits. However as gets more warm in the mouth it develops non-linear complex, masculine and almost chameleon like to a massive mineral terroire bomb (dry Riesling when it is best). In the long complex finish is pectin and tobacco like bitterness tones that results in a brilliant mineral nerve, that is skinning the gum in the mouth. All in all a really fantastic wine.

17.5/20
